While more could have been done to analyze and divide up the visual building blocks of this image, your alterations are subtle, well executed, and cognizant of meaning in relation to source material. The color changes between frames are smooth enough to feel almost natural and time-based, and the smoke graphic rests on screen in a way that feels like a satisfyingly continuous loop. The only quick change might be to reverse the frames back again in the loop, which would make the transition more seamless, as opposed to the little stutter jump that happens each time the loop resolves.
