I have no experience with photoshop so this project was a bit difficult. I wanted to play around with this photo of the beach sunrise I took last summer and mess with the colors a bit. Let me know what you think!
Great image source to try this with—the resulting image is both psychedelic and vaguely natural. This is an example of a GIF that would benefit from way more layers added to the mix. Since the manipulation effect is not painstaking or too detailed, layers could be added fairly quickly, making the flashes of color even more varied, subtle or gradual. This points a bit to overall intention or concept, which seems a bit lacking. Perhaps with more thought to identity, or the ways in which your manipulations are altering the overall reality of the layer, the flow of the frames would feel more specific or intentional. This aside, the color effects here really are mesmerizing, like a flash storm suddenly approaching.
