The commercial is called "Get Your TV Together: Wonder, featuring Serena Williams and John McEnroe", and is about a couple watching television and they catch Serena Williams playing tennis, and then they switch to Wonder Woman, then back to Serena, then back to Wonder Woman, and then Serena becomes Wonder Woman. She sees tennis robots, they're attacking people, she deflects an attack with her tennis racket, and the robot is destroyed. 

It is set in a run of the mill home, and it cuts from the couple watching TV to Serena Williams tennis match and then to Wonder Woman and then to Serena Williams and it flip flops between the two until she becomes one. It is composed of two different programs, and it was quickly paced. The tennis match had muted colors compared to the Wonder Woman movie which had very high contrast color. The home had monotone colors and they created a calm setting. The couple was wearing comfortable and relaxed-fitting clothes. The woman looks happy at the beginning of the commercial, but looks shocked when Serena becomes Wonder Woman. The beginning of the ad has dull lighting, but it becomes darker when the tennis match is playing, and becomes brighter when Wonder Woman comes on. The tennis racket sounds like an automatic weapon when Wonder Woman hits the tennis ball. DirecTV conveyed their message very well by the combination of the fast paced changes and multiple images that we are all familiar with. The pace of the commercial made it exciting, and the scenario that played out would make a great movie plot. this advertisement is aimed at the age group of the couple sitting on the couch because they are watching Serena Williams and Wonder Woman. Serena Williams and Wonder Woman are well known, and people know about them. Putting them in the ad will grab their attention because they know about them. DirecTV is trying to convince you to switch from cable to DirecTV by using Serena Williams and Wonder Woman. I think DirecTV was successful in their marketing strategy.
